With more than 60 years of combined pediatric dental experience, our doctors know how to keep their patients happy and healthy. What sets us apart from general dentists? Drs. Friend, Havard, Koen, Meek, Scott and Jones have each received an additional two years of specialized training so we can provide the best possible dental care for young patients … now that’s something to smile about!

 

Dr. Gerald Friend

Dr. Gerald Friend earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Arkansas. He attended the University of Tennessee to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery. He then completed a residency in pediatric dentistry at the University of Tennessee. Dr. Friend is recognized by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry as a board-certified pediatric dentist. He is on staff at Conway Regional Medical Center and Arkansas Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Jason Havard

Dr. Jason Havard earned his undergraduate degree from Harding University. He attended Baylor College of Dentistry, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery. Following dental school, he completed a two year residency in pediatric dentistry at Baylor College of Dentistry, Children’s Medical Center of Dallas and Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. Dr. Havard is on staff at Conway Regional Medical Center and Arkansas Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Clint koen

Dr. Clint Koen earned his undergraduate degree from Arkansas State University. He attended the University of Tennessee, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery. Following dental school, he completed a two year residency in pediatric dentistry at the University of Tennessee. Dr. Koen is recognized by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry as a board-certified pediatric dentist. He is on staff at Conway Regional Medical Center and Arkansas Children’s Hospital.


My favorite Disney character is Donald Duck because I like the way he talks ... I do a great impression of him! (*makes quacking noises*)

Dr. Stefanie Meek

Dr. Stefanie Meek earned her undergraduate degree from University of Central Arkansas. She attended the University of Tennessee, where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery. Following dental school, she completed a residency in pediatric dentistry at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Dr. Meek is recognized by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry as a board-certified pediatric dentist. She is on staff at Arkansas Children’s Hospital and Conway Regional Medical Center.

Dr. John Scott

Dr. John Scott earned his bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Math from Westminster College in Missouri. He attended the University of Tennessee, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery. Following dental school, he completed a general practice residency at UAMS in Little Rock. He then worked as a dentist at Arkansas Children’s Hospital for two years. After working at Children’s Hospital, he completed a residency in pediatric dentistry. He received his Masters of Science in Dentistry from Louisiana State University in New Orleans. Dr. Scott is recognized by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry as a board-certified pediatric dentist. He is on staff at Arkansas Children’s Hospital and Conway Regional Medical Center.

My favorite Disney characters would have to be Timon and Pumbaa because they lay the foundation for my day with their famous quote “Hakuna Matata” – it means no worries!

Dr. Kirby Jones

Dr. Kirby Jones earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Arkansas. She attended Texas A&M College of Dentistry, where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery. Following dental school, she completed a two-year residency in pediatric dentistry and received a Masters of Science in Dentistry from Louisiana State University in New Orleans. She is on staff at Arkansas Children’s Hospital and Conway Regional Medical Center.
